Flashback Friday: On this day two years ago, demolition was underway on the vacant auto parts store that stood at the corner of Lee Street and 4th Avenue.
Here are photos from before, during and after the lot was cleared. Now stands the amazing new home of the Cook Museum of Natural Science.
Although the building's exterior is nearing completion, we still have a long journey ahead! Fabrication and installation of the exhibits is the next phase. We hope you will continue to follow along with us through this process and share in the excitement and anticipation. We look forward to sharing the finished product with you in 2018!

What's happening at the new location of the Cook Museum of Natural Science this week?
These are a few images from inside the Museum Store. A crew is on site all week to install the store's fixtures that fill these boxes. The rendering is what the store will look like when the work is completed. We can't wait to share the finished product with you all!
Please remember, although the exterior of the new building is nearing completion, there is still much work to be done on the interior. Also, exhibits are still under construction.

Hint: It is not a State Park or National Park. It is privately owned and operated.
