Admission to the Exhibits is not included. \n\n\n\nK – 2nd Grade: Amazing Animals – Birds  ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class\n\n\n\nFrom the tiny bee hummingbird to the magnificent ostrich, birds come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. In this class, participants will explore the characteristics that all feathered friends must have to truly be considered a bird!\n\n\n\n3rd – 6th Grade: Power of WaterALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class\n\n\n\nHow much dirt can water move? Join us for a class exploring erosion and deposition to learn the impact water has on the world around us.\n\n\n\nALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 7th – 12th Grade: Captivating Chelicerates – Dissection9:30 – 10:30 am or 11 am – Noon$26 (+ tax) per participant, per class\n\n\n\nThe class will discuss the characteristics of chelicerates (arachnids, horseshoe crabs, and sea spiders) that separate them from other arthropods like insects and crustaceans. Participants will see a live tarantula and chelicerate biofacts, before dissecting a horseshoe crab.\n\n\n\nThere are two ways to register: in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at (256) 898-6312.\n
