Grades K – 2: Amazing Animals – Insects

Grades 3 – 6: Earthquake Engineers

Monday, March 23: 9:30 am, 11 am, & 1 pm

What causes earthquakes? Discover the answer while making several different models. Put your knowledge to the test to build an earthquake resistant structure!

Grades 7 – 12: Oceans Deep and Mountains High

Monday, March 23: 9:30 am & 11 am
$56 (+ tax) per participant, per semester (4 classes)

How do scientists explore the deepest oceans and highest mountains? Both places are often mapped and explored indirectly using technology. How is it possible to map these regions of the Earth’s surface? Use a bathymetric method to map an underwater surface or construct a topographic map of Mt. St. Helen’s.
