April Homeschool Classes

K – 2nd Grade: Amazing Animals – Fish
9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$12 (+ tax) per participant, per class

Let’s take a deep dive and explore what’s beneath the waves! In this class, we will learn all about our underwater friends including what they eat, where they live, how they breathe, and more! At the end of class, we will take a trip to the Oceans Exhibit to see them in action.

3rd – 6th Grade: Volcano Voyagers
9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$12 (+ tax) per participant, per class

Volcanoes come in all shapes and sizes around the world. Make your own island volcano after learning about how and where volcanoes form!

7th – 12th Grade: Cephalopod Anatomy – Dissection
9:30 – 10:30 am or 11 am – Noon
$24 (+ tax) per participant, per class

In this mollusk investigation, students will dissect an octopus to learn more about cephalopods. Cephalopods, like octopuses and squid, have captured the interest of many people because of their intelligence. In this class, students will explore unique aspects of octopuses that helps them survive and thrive in their ocean habitats.
