Let’s get moving and grooving! Come join us for the Thanksgiving Break day camp where campers will learn all about how animals move through age-appropriate activities, crafts, & games! Snack and lunch are included.

Ages 5-7

Learn all about what movement is and how animals move by making crafts, listening to stories, and observing some of the Museum’s Animal Ambassadors, like grasshoppers and snakes, up close! 

Ages 8-12

Ever wondered why an animal moves the way it does? In this camp, participants will get to dive deeper into movements like flying, hopping, and climbing. They will compare how different animals move by studying some of the Museum’s Animal Ambassadors up close and learn how to build a suitable enclosure for animals that love to climb. Then, they will build a craft stick catapult to learn about building up and releasing energy for animals that jump.  Lastly, campers will study bird movement and build a bird kite!
