Come join us at the Cook Museum for the very first insect pinning workshop! Participants will learn about insect orders & anatomy, how to ethically collect & preserve insects, and will practice using scientific pinning & labeling methods. Each participant will take home a box of pinned insects, including a bee from the Museum’s honey bee colony. Each family group will have their own socially distanced table at which to work, whether you purchase one or more kits.
Limited spots available. Guests may register for their spot in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at firstname.lastname@example.org or (256) 898-6312. Admission to the Exhibits is not included.
