K – 2nd Grade: Amazing Animals – Reptiles
ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class
Did you know that reptiles can be found on every continent except for Antarctica? In this class, we will learn all about our dry, scaly friends and the different places that they call home. Participants will learn about the major groups of reptiles while observing real live animals!
3rd – 6th Grade: Saltwater Science
ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class
We can’t learn about water without learning about the ocean! This class will expand our investigation of water to saltwater, including an exploration of density!
ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 7th – 12th Grade: Inspiring Insects – Dissection
9:30 – 10:30 am or 11 am – Noon
$26 (+ tax) per participant, per class
Participants will learn about the characteristics of insects, especially those that scientists have used as inspiration for many different inventions. They will get to see many different examples of real insects and will end the class by dissecting a grasshopper.
