Ologies After-School Program: Volcanology (The study of volcanoes)

Grade Level: 3rd – 5th Grade

Come and witness the classic model of volcanic eruption created with vinegar and baking soda and build your own 3D paper model of a volcano.  Investigate four types of volcanoes and how they form.  Build your own lava column to see how magma moves under the earth’s crust.  This class is a hotspot of fun!

Limited spots available. Admission to the Exhibits is not included. There are two ways to register: in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at groups@cookmuseum.org or (256) 898-6312.
