Grades 3 – 6: Energy Explorers: Gravity
9:30 am, 11 am, & 1 pm
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class

We all know gravity is what makes us fall, but what else can it do? Students will experiment and interact with gravity demonstrations, investigate how animals harness the power of gravity, and explore how humans can learn from other living things to harness the power of gravity!

Grades 7 – 12: Energy in Me
9:30 am & 11 am
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class

There are many different kinds of energy in the world around us.  Come learn about the differences between potential,  kinetic, mechanical, and chemical energies. Participants will learn how much potential energy (calories) can be found in certain food items and see if they can determine how much potential or kinetic energy is used by simple household objects.

Limited spots available. Admission to the Exhibits is not included.
There are two ways to register: in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at (256) 898-6312.
