Chocolate Acorns
You will need:
- mini vanilla wafers
- Hershey’s kisses
- mini chocolate chips
- chocolate icing
- gloves (optional)
- sheet pan
Directions:
- Put gloves on to keep chocolate from melting.
- Add small amount of chocolate icing to the flat side of a mini vanilla wafer and adhere it to the flat side of an unwrapped Hershey kiss.
- Place on sheet pan. Freeze for 5 minutes or until chocolate sets.
- Add tiny dot of chocolate icing to the flat side of a mini chocolate chip and adhere to the top of each “acorn” for the stem.
- Freeze for another 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy while discussing how acorns are seeds.
