Grades K – 2: What’s the Matter?
9:30 am, 11 am, & 1 pm

Solids, liquids, and gases, oh my! Come learn what matters about matter.
Grades 3 – 6: Electromagnetism
9:30 am, 11 am, & 1 pm

In this electrifying class, participants will learn how magnets attract by exploring and experimenting with electricity and magnetism. They will learn and review concepts that help with the understanding of electromagnetism. Using their understanding of engineering, magnetic fields, and electric currents, they will build and test an electromagnet.
Grades 7 – 12: Cranes and Cranes
9:30 am & 11 am
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class
What do whooping cranes and construction cranes have in common? Participants will examine the physical structure of bird legs and lever systems to compare the two and learn about mechanical advantage.
