Ice Cream Cone Bird Feeders
You will need:
- sugar ice cream cones
- peanut butter
- birdseed
- twine
- Cheerios (optional)
- plastic knife
- plate or napkin for easy cleanup
Directions:
- Cut off the tip of the ice cream cone.
- Thread two pieces of twine through the hole and tie them together inside, making a knot larger than the hole.
- Use the plastic knife to spread peanut butter around the entire cone.
- Over the plate or napkin, sprinkle birdseed all over the cone so it sticks to the peanut butter.
- Thread Cheerios on the two pieces of twine, leaving room to tie the ends together.
- Hang the bird feeder from a tree branch or hook for birds to enjoy. To attract different types of birds, try using different kinds of birdseed.
