Located inside the Museum Lobby, the store is open to the general public without an admission ticket.

Gemstone Mining
Located outdoors in the Museum’s Courtyard, Cook Museum Mining Co. allows visitors to try their hand at sluicing.
Wash the dirt away to see what gemstones are revealed. Use the included ID card to learn more about the gemstones you get to take home.
Stories in the Store
Join us for a FREE Stories in the Store, where children can enjoy engaging books and take an active role in bringing each story to life!
Arrive early to pick your favorite stool before story time begins at 10:30 am just outside the Museum Store. This event is offered regularly during school breaks.
