Bird Nest Cookies
You will need:
- chocolate candy eggs
- chocolate chips
- butterscotch chips
- thin pretzel sticks (halved)
- mini muffin pan
- heat-safe bowl & spoon
Directions:
- Melt butterscotch chips in a heat-safe bowl and pour over broken pretzel sticks. Mix until all pretzels are coated.
- Lightly grease your mini muffin pan and spoon pretzel mix into each cup, being careful not to overfill.
- Press your thumb into the center of each nest to create a dent, and let sit for 10 – 15 minutes until hardened. Leave in pan or remove and make more nests as needed.
- Melt the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Pour a small amount into each nest.
- Immediately press candy eggs into chocolate to harden.
- Let chocolate cool completely before removing from pan, placing it in refrigerator for a few minutes if necessary.
